In support of the Office of Naval Research, the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Test Resource Management Center (TRMC), CUBRC scientists and engineers are applying machine learning technologies to enhance our warfighters’ decision-making and information-gathering effectiveness.

Mission Planning and C4ISR Applications
Our work in this area centers on the enhancement of decision aid tracking capabilities, evaluating and projecting key mission indicators, and providing measures of performance and effectiveness for a comprehensive mission state and overall mission impact assessment. This includes assessing red and blue courses of action given (or learned) and developing knowledge of patterns of life related to intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms, including their capabilities and limitations.
Testing and Evaluation Capabilities
CUBRC is also utilizing its machine learning capabilities and other technologies to aid test and evaluation (T&E) analysts to make better decisions faster by rapidly analyzing previously unstructured datasets to generate new information and gain new insights to support T&E effectiveness determinations.
